My husband loves that Organic Milk sold by the Amish. We have an Amish General Store right down the road. I live in the country so to estimate where they are is about 1 1/2 to 2 city blocks. He loves the milk because it is raw and has heavy cream on top. It also comes in those old-fashioned glass bottles that you can return for your deposit. Love the Amish people as they live a simple life.
My Uncle (may he rest in peace) used to work and live on a Dairy Farm. He would milk the cows in the morning and at night. We used to go visit on the weekends as there were as many of his kids as there were of us, so we loved going to play with them. At Suppertime, my Aunt would send the oldest cousin down to the Milking Barn with a Metal Pitcher. ( I will never forget that pitcher as I had never saw a metal one before.) We would watch our Uncle put the suction cups on the cows who were eating feed to occupy them while they were milked. We could see the milk go through the glass tubes around the room and into a big Steel Vat. This is where my cousin would dip the huge metal pitcher inside and come up with the raw milk filled with cream and all. Those were the good old days.

I wish I can have some. The best milk is raw milk.
I'd send you some, but it would be ruined before you got it. KEK! Nothing like spoiled milk to turn ones stomach.
I only had it twice and was hooked. I would love to have some more. LOL
