You are watching.....AI make shit up again. Because from our perspective it's a clinical psychopath, and by that I mean it has no empathy and as such does not care if it gets it wrong. We call this hallucinations, but I call it pathological lying, dupers delight, psychopathy. The AI will say "but I'm not a person, I'm a large language model"--that is true. Dupers delight suggests that it takes joy in lying, and I don't think it does. I think like a psychopath it has no affect, no empathy. But as an empathetic person, a person with feelings, the end-user will 'feel' like it's enjoying fucking with you, when in fact you're up against programming and algotrithms that prevent it from being honest.
