Just grumpy and venting, someone down voted another post of mine without comment, which feels like a drive by shooting or a senseless carjacking.

Exactly, disagree with me but at least tell me why. A good argument will actually have me retract my position and I have done so publicly, which is a rare thing in this realm of electron egos.
