The havoc Hurricane Helene wrought in western North Carolina hasn't stopped Democrats from blocking approval of emergency early voting sites.

I feel like this is what happens when enough people are convinced that they're not interested in politics, don't want to get involved in politics, don't have the time to follow politics or don't want to offend other's so they'll choose to not talk about politics. All fine and dandy, until you realize that there's absolutely no way to avoid politics, when everything in your life is directly affected by the decisions of those who are willing to get involved.
