If you don't want to use an existing email address to sign up for X/Twitter, do a quick search for: temporary email address

and use one of those. Twitter sends a quick, single email to verify your new account, then you can forget the temp email address.

Even if you're not going to post anything, having an account lets you see comments and Like posts, etc.
