That would make sense as a contingency at this point. I just don't get why we would support a government in exile instead of dealing with Russia on realistic terms. Global peace and stability is worth more than a shitty puppet state in Eastern Europe right now.
Also the US needs to deal realistically and respectfully with Russia regarding Arctic sea lanes/trade. Either Russia will align with the US, or with Chyna on that.
