I have been watching John Clayton's series from start to finish and it is incredible the amount of scientific evidence he realizes and shares which points to God. He was a former atheist who taught himself about God and I thought it might be able to help one person find God who has questions. The website is filled with free information ready at the click of a button or I believe they will mail it out to you as well. God bless you all.

My understanding is the 2nd law relates to closed systems. Our planet is an open system because it obtains energy from the sun.
The sun warms the planets so here on Earth we have energy to spare. We don't just lose all our heat to space over time. Therefore life has what it needs to evolve.
Ah sorry I deleted my comment as it didn't have specific useful information in it
https://vimeo.com/57212385 here is his 3rd video where he addresses this and speaks about the closed systems as well.
He agrees that on Earth the sun provides the energy necessary for life to create complex forms out of simple elements.
I will say the DVD's I have are much older than these "newer" videos so I skipped up to it and I'm not sure of the way they are structured compared to mine. I did see wherein he said entropy exists within the human body as we age and die.
He doesn't support the idea of evolution, he may go on to talk about inter vs intra species evolution I'm not sure as I have heard lectures on that as well as adaptation but the idea of "something coming from nothing", the big bang, and evolution without intelligent design is refuted by John in the very beginning and all through these lessons as he focuses on different areas of study.
I doubt the big bang too. I think existence might never have had a beginning and will always be. It could be infinite in 3D space as well and not expanding like the dominant theory says. If it always existed it would be proof that god does not exist; not a creator of all things like the christian god (and many others) anyways.
