I thought both Republicans and Democrats were liars and scum. I thought both Republicans and Democrats played for the same team. I still think both sides are corrupt and some play for the same team. But why am I voting now?

One thing that stands out to me over the years since 2016 is the absolute hate for Trump. I've never seen this level of hate or propaganda towards a candidate before. If the people that I know are evil hate this guy and are trying so hard to fight against him, maybe, just maybe, he really is the outlier and not on either team. After all, like Trump has said himself, why would he do this if he could just go sit on a beach somewhere.

The second thing that stood out to me is the 2020 election. Even though I didn't vote, it was clear to me that it was stolen. I remember watching and seeing Trump ahead and thinking he was going to win and then waking up to it being Biden winning. There's no way that's true. Especially seeing all the videos of the cheating.

Third thing that put the nail in the coffin was covid. While I am not a fan of Trump wanting credit for the "vaccine" or telling people to get it, he at least kept it optional. The fact that Kennedy joined his team puts me at a little ease with all of that stuff too. I truly hope Trump will let Kennedy fix some things and make us healthy again. I NEVER want to live through another covid-like situation and have friends and family and the country turn in to actual monsters and covid nazis. NEVER AGAIN.

Of course there are many other points (like the border crisis and illegal immigration) that are of high concern to me, but the above was my process of realizing that this election is probably the most important election that will ever happen. And if voting does anything, then this is the one that people need to get out for. I know all the years before they try to say that America is on the line to try to get you to vote - but this time it is literally the case. This could be the last stand for the America that should be.

I just want to add that I know I'm not the only one who has never voted before and is deciding to vote this year - be kind to us. I know of another person that is coming out for Trump as well, for reasons of their own and some similar to mine and we can't be the only two. Sadly I know some who are refusing to vote for Trump this year because they can't get past their own pride of "his time is done and he can't get over 2020" and "mean tweets" and they will probably not vote even though they have voted every election before.

That being said, I made sure I voted early.

Good luck America. I thought you died in 2020 but let's hope you're still alive in 2025.

And regardless of what happens, we all must put our hope and trust in Jesus. This world was meant to decay and keep heading towards degeneracy, oppression, and evil...but for those who believe, Jesus already won and is the only way to truly live.
