Welp, this story happened earlier today on Pensacola Beach.

Here are all the alarm bells going off in my head:

• Holly Shelton Snowden is a singer and a local celebrity in the Florida Panhandle. Her husband is also a well known and respected musician. She has convenient name recognition.
• This was her first time ever holding signs for a political cause
• And she is attacked, on her first time ever holding signs for a political cause.
• Gets a nice neat black eye from this encounter. No other bruising that I can see from the pics. I've seen Holly in person multiple times; she is TALL. I'm surprised she doesn't also have bruising on her cheek as well.
• Everything, including pics and info, is all just from the Harris/Walz side of this story.
• Obviously it's Sinclair news so it will be biased, but WEAR 3 and especially the long time anchors Sue and Bob don't even bother to hide their disgust of conservatives. For fun, watch them have to cover a story about our local firebrand Matt Gaetz.

Here is my take from this, just on precedent and snap judgment: President Trump has taken Florida and especially the NW part of the state by a massive landslide, and the news station has gotten their marching orders to create a story/narrative that Trump supporters are violent. I'm not saying coordination was involved, but I don't think WEAR 3 and the local chapter of the DNC needed an excuse to jump when told to.
