That would be explained by the "awakening" process. It does not flip people 180 degrees all at once. First, it just encourages them to disengage from their former narratives as they gradually wake up... in other words, they stay home and don't vote.
Over time, more and more may actually shift over to our MAGA/MAHA narrative.
Like dumbasses who voted R for President but somehow still voted D for governor and such, though I suspect a lot of that is just fraud.
