Could it be, that the White Hats have deliberately made it look like a "close call" in order to decrease the probability of civil unrest coming from the fanatics on the losing side..., it would be a wise move if they want to unify the People again
Not a good take. You imply that not only are "the White Hats" capable of cheating, but they are indeed manipulating outcomes. An overwhelming landslide would put more fear into the losing side. More likely, there was cheating that could not be stopped.
i wouldn't call it "cheating" if the White Hats controlled the election process and purposefully allowed a little bit of the opponent's cheating, just to prevent a civil unrest.
