Moving into this election season, I was very cranky. Iβve lived through several election cycles where my vote has been stolen here in Arizona, and I was really bitter about it.
2020 Presidential Election
2022 Kari Lake
I had convinced myself that you canβt vote yourself out of tyranny. I wasnβt going to vote. I was adamant about it actually. Over the last few months, friends and family have been talking to me and convincing me to go ahead and vote.
I voted early, because we receive mail in ballots. However; we always fill them out and take them down to our voting location to present them by hand. I was so pissed off they forced me to vote again. π΅βπ«π€¬
Yesterday, as the day progressed, I began to be a little bit hopeful, but even after they announced that Trump won I went to sleep thinking I was going to wake up and they were going to steal the election again.
I WAS WRONG π
First thing I did was check my phone when I woke up this morning, and I was pleasantly surprised. π³
Donald Trump was declared president of the 2024 election πΊπΈ
Iβve never been so happy to be wrong in my life. Yes I was wrong and I want to admit it to our community, and apologize for being a Doomer and a Cranky Pants. πβΉοΈ
Iβm grateful for the Lord for honoring our votes, and our prayers, and for giving us our country back.
Thank you, Jesus. πππ
Thank you to all my Frens here for putting up with me. πΈπ₯°
Iβm going to the salt mines now

I was very cranky yesterday too. After being burned by 2020 and the obvious steal I could have honestly seen this election being stolen too, or allowed by White Hats so that it would rally everyone together to push back against the obvious steal. But to be honest it would have made me feel more dejected. I've been struggling with depression and other health issues the last couple of years, so the thought of having to go through another 4 years of fighting made me very upset.
I'm so happy I was wrong.
I got optimistic as the night went on but still didn't want to celebrate too early. I woke up this morning fully expecting to see all of the red leaning states shifting blue from a "sudden drop of extra ballots," and the election wouldn't be called yet. I didn't want to just see the results and get depressed if Kackles was declared the winner, so I went back to an election livestream to pick up where I left off the night before and patiently waited to see what would happen. A couple hours into the stream Pennsylvania was called for Trump, 270 was reached, and I collapsed on my knees, crying, thanking God for His great Mercy, unworthy as we are.
I finally have some hope for the future. I finally feel like I can go on. Thank You dear Lord Jesus, praise be Your Holy Name!
Yes, Iβm so grateful to the Lord for honoring our votes, honoring our prayers, and giving us our country back. Iβm happy you finally found a respite. God bless you and have a great day. π
