π«‘ THE GREAT AWAKENING π
Many of you know u/Undine53 ~ passed away suddenly this year. Her daughter found her in her room with her Bible on her chest. There were some threads and some wonderful thoughts about her, and I just wanted to post this to celebrate our big win π
I know sheβs looking down from heaven with a huge smile on her face! We WON BIGLY!
Here is to you FREN πΈπ₯πΎ
Thank you! Mum learned a lot about community management from me, and while I shook my head over her content I respected her thoroughness and dedication. She ran quite a few communities of her own over the years, often posing as a man because she felt her message got across better that way. There was no way I could just ignore this huge group of 'frens' and leave you wondering what happened to her.
Bless you! π€
Iβm sorry for your loss. But based on your actions, I feel there is hope for unity or at least mutual respect.
I believe there is some truth to what your mom thought regarding male/female voice. Many female authors posed as males throughout history so they wouldnβt be dismissed out of hand.
Yeah, it sucks but it's a fact. A woman is seen as 'talking too much' if she takes up more than 20% of a dialogue. It frustrated Mum no end.
