If they designate the cartels as terrorist organizations and use the military against them, doesn't that change the way they handle citizens in the country working with them? Wouldn't that designate them as terrorists and give them practically no protection a citizen would have with the Constitution? I mean, it's no longer the US government vs a private citizen but suddenly the US military vs a foreign enemy on US soil.
I dunno how the law works for that but I can imagine it changes the game.
Trump said any country that won’t work with them in this will outed and all evidence of kickbacks and bribery will be made known to the public. I guess that’s how they will ensure foreign government cooperation. Seems like they are confident they will know EVERYTHING. A bit scary for everyone, also including those not involved if you ask me.
