Some of us are like John Wayne and us Anons fight like Johy Wayne... And people want to be John Wayne.... Don't get me wrong Jimmy Stewart in the movie was a good man,but he was not up for the fight.
"Stewart was the first Hollywood actor to join. It was the start of a 27-year career in the Army and then the Air Force."
" years at war had taken their toll on his appearance. He was 37 but looked 50 and his career as a romantic lead was over."
"Stewart was still wracked with guilt about the lives he lost on bombing missions under his command and channeled his post-traumatic stress symptoms into his performances."
Most people are like the pilgram,Jimmy Stewart.

There is a reason they are both American icons. Not because of the actors so much, but they were men who could act those roles.
I am so glad to see so many who still know and appreciate John Wayne!
Some of them were not actors, they just played themselves.....
A lot of the tough guys of that area were combat veterans, like Lee Marvin.
Audie Murphy was one.

I guess Out of the three John Wayne was the actor.
