Could this be why the legislative folks are contingency planning a significant loss of numbers? The (R>D) governors appointing alternates would throw the Dems into a tizzy. But, would that put the Repos into a filibuster proof supramajority?
Wouldn't it be a twist of irony if the Dems had to learn what removal of the filibuster would be like by way of the filibuster being irrelevant because MAGA had a supermajority?
