Everyone just got a €100 electricity / energy “winter bonus” because our civil servants love us and don’t want us to be cold this winter. Basically a tax refund.
We also have the most expensive electricity in Europe. We have among the highest paid electricity workers in the world. Our electricity supplier is a state monopoly, civil servants.
We have a civil service Energy Regulator who’s sole purpose is to eliminate competition against the state electricity monopoly, I.e price fixing.
This is the same with most sectors. A regulator ensures lack of competition, once the civil servants get their cut. They charges 23% sales tax on nearly everything. Higher prices mean more sales tax.
We also have an ever growing welfare parasite problem, which now includes the dregs of the turd world. They arrive in Ireland and get everything handed to them.
Everything wrong in this country is caused by corrupt, incompetent, greedy civil servants.
It’s getting too obvious for even the sheep to ignore all the parasite turd world scum walking around with multiple children and not working.
