It just shows how D.C. corrupts most people who go there.

I also wonder if people are corrupt or corrupted first, and then they are moved on up the political ladder so that they are always controlled.

It seems most elected officials do what their handlers say, not what their constituents say. Why is that? I think it is blackmail and corruption.

The dirtier they are, the higher they go up.
