There is one thing on our side, regarding Rubio and Thune...

The MAGA river is fast and massive. It rewards anyone who goes with us, carrying them to success. Similarly, it washes away the political aspirations of anyone who goes against us...(Cheney, for example).

Think of the way RFK Jr felt when he joined Trump on that stage, with fireworks and massive cheers. Who wouldn't want to piggyback that? Who would want to walk upstream?
