Maybe if they were given the means as in a flight and cash ! but they aren’t walking back to south america and other country’s and unless they are given special clearance flights they can’t just go to an airport and buy a tik without id etc . I mean they can when they are snuck around with help , but not on their own . Whether it’s self deport or forced deport as long as they are gone . However . I don’t think they left the country just the city of NY
