Good one, i noticed that quite a few of these 70's and 80's Reggae songs have some relation to topics within the current Great Awakening and the falling of Babylon, etc.
Thinking of creating a dedicated topic to assemble such songs
Old roots and dub reggae music, my favorite genre. La Grosse Radio Reggae internet radio is pretty good. Based in France, some of the tunes are in French, but most is English.
Jacob Miller, Barrington Levy, Tenor Saw, Horace Andy, Augustus Pablo, Sister Nancy, Sly & Robbie. Prince Jammy, King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry. Pukka tunes.
Zion Train - Babylons Burning, a hectic tune, but that's where we are right now.
Good to know other anons here love this style. Would love to see your playlists.
Cheers.
High Five for La Grosse "Get the Lion Share" !
This is currently also my number 1 favourite Reggae station.
They stick to mostly Roots, no talking in between the tracks, except for their occasional jingle.
They have indeed an estimated 10% of their tracks in French language, but these are usually also of good or reasonable quality.
It's a great honor to meet you here, and other Anons who enjoy the same uplifting vibes!
Topic + playlist incoming, after this busy week...
Cheers Psiobs,
