Robert Redfield has been a proponent of the 'lab leak' theory which posits the disease came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. Now Redfield says that the disease may have origins in America.

There was a Chinese [US assigned] diplomat who publicly made that allegation (virus came from US) very early during the "bat-virus" scare. MSM reported it. Trump called that diplomat to the White House, and nothing more was ever heard about that ever since. I wonder, what did that diplomat really know, and what did he tell Trump?
