I have friends and family in Western North Carolina who took up Elon's offer for Free Startlink until the end of the year and plan to subscribe once the offer expires. They tell me many in the Appalachian Mountains are getting Star Link. Many in those mountains did not have the internet at all until they got down to a valley with cellular service internet.
