Our politicians don't make mistakes, they screw us on purpose in order to empower and enrich themselves and don't even consider the consequences.

Depends on the size of the business, doesn't it? A mom & pop type business, yes. A corporate exec at a Fortune 500 company... probably not. Remember Financial Crisis bailouts followed by bonuses for top execs?
