Are we getting lazy, or is all the news really just the same ol' same ol'? I lurk on X, Telegram, Poal, and GAW. Used to be on Reddit and Voat before that. FB is beneath me. 🖕 All I see is the same stories copy pasta over and over. There are a few users who write their own takes on the same stories, but it's still the same stories.
Has it always been this way? I called myself a news and weather junkie as a boomer. I had my finger on the pulse. Then I changed over the years because I could sense and see the changes in msm from info to psycho. Seems that the initiation of newsworthy events are coming from the same AP originators as in the past. Are we falling into the same info trap just because we think we've won something? We haven't won anything yet. We are still in the fight of our lives, of the world's common population. I pray that we haven't already become so arrogant that our info warriors are settling into a comfort zone.
