Trump will absolutely have to eliminate taxes on working class incomes for this to work. This could be the primary step in eliminating income tax altogether.

Well, right, it can't do that if it's truly a flat tax. Right now I'm not poverty-stricken, but am poor enough not to pay federal income tax, and half of Americans are in my same boat. What's our incentive to support this?
