Yup, same. my generac ran for 4 days without recharging. These bastards keep trying to take our NatGas too….unbelievable. We lose power all the time and our generator runs pretty much everything. My last purchase is Starlink so I won’t have any cabling.
That could probably last you around two months being fair here. Still much cheaper to burn fuel than to buy a 5 figure car, the case for it should be made a different way. For reference, their battery holds ~125kw/h , my 3kW unit burns close to 2 gallons of propane an hour on a full load, though it's a basic dual-fuel emergency unit, and definitely not optimized. The challenge is after those 3-4 days, your car AND generator turns into a cabbage, while I can go and buy another 250 gal.
My neighbor paid $20,000 for a generac.
Died during milton and my other neighbor has the same brand and their service guy was there the day after fixing their system.
Crazy that the truck ran down to 6% power towing a 8k lb camper 50 miles. And it cost more to recharge than to fill the Dodge Ram diesel that they were testing it against.
I have a Generac generator for that and it’s a helluva lot cheaper to buy.
Now, that is just too logical and conservative. You went and spoiled their bragging rights.

So do we...game changer. Kek! Natural Gas! ✨
We have a 250 gallon propane that feeds a generator. It takes us a couple of years to deplete it.

If you're having to run a generator for three to four days I don't think there's going to be anywhere to buy another 250 gallon tank of propane.
Well, maybe you live way out like I'm getting ready to do.
I got one that runs on Natural Gas---as long as the gas lines are full, I'll keep genning!
i got a $1000 generator that powered the house this summer and ran the air and everything else... i saved over $100 k.
... I'm sure you miss 3 hr visits to the charging station as well...so you can drive a refrigerator around town 🤣
It's still the ugliest truck ever.
It's what happens when the DeLorean from Back to the Future hits a dumpster..
And Marty "McFly" was telling us waaaay back then how things are going to be made,,,, LOL 🤔🤔😃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maytag is insulted

My cooler keeps stuff cool for 3 days.😉
