Listening to the Iron Republic right now (again) - Originally published in 1902 in Florida Magazine.
It's a very entertaining story that definitely stirs the imagination. I highly recommend listening. If for nothing else, it's a nice throwback to the days of radio programs before television. There's a bit of preface in the beginning, explaining various "housekeeping" things, but it gets rolling soon after.
Couple some of what's conveyed in this publication with a bit of open mindedness along with the possibility that the moon map is a true representation of our realm, and the definition of extraterrestrial, literally meaning "extra land" - and things like the possible origins of UAPs/UFOs comes into focus. Admiral Byrd said there was "extra" land bigger than the United States...Was he lying? Who knows... it's fun to think of alternative possibilities...
You are a veritable wealth of information TaQo! Sounds interesting...you had me at Admiral Byrd! Will have to listen to it in several different sittings. Thanks!
