High profile case -- race baiters calling for blood ==> prosecutor going for blood to advance career.
Seems like careerism to me. More than her ideology. But shame on her for caving to the headlines, right?
Is that what she did (rightly or wrongly) Or did she passionately believe she was doing the right thing as a state prosecutor? The only person who knew what was in her heart is her.
At the time there seemed to be some railroading going on. Just saying.
