You are so right! I watched some "holiday" mystery movies on the weekend. One movie had two homosexual couples. One movie had two inter-racial couples. Both movies had one heterosexual couple as the main love interest.
So the script writers were obviously "forcing" the message of inter-racial and LGBT, while still writing about a white couple trying to find love . . . Interestingly, the other mentioned couples had already found it . . .
Not to mention the commercials. The ads for HIV meds are especially explicit that way . . . One might conclude only black people and homosexuals get it . . .
