5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
something to be grasped,a
7 but emptied Himself,
taking the form of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Phil 2:6- who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal (agree) with God.
Not sure which translation you used buy my kjv reads as above.
Form equals = likeness or nature. What is God's nature = jn 4:24 -for God is spirit (Holy Spirit) Jesus got baptized and holy spirit descended upon him like a dove and God said "this is my Son in whom I am well pleased".
Jesus always did the Fathers will because he agreed with God. Equal is a math term. 2=2 2 =1 does not work. Jesus partook of flesh from Mary and uncorrupted sperm that God created from nothing miraculously inside her. Jesus wasn't born with spirit he had to be baptized. His cousin John the Baptist however had spirit in the womb. So Jesus had the form of flesh from.mary and pure blood from sperms freshly created by God and not donated by man whose blood through Adam had become corrupted and once baptized by John at age 30 Jesus had holy spirit. Thats how my Bible reads anyhow. Also, many scholars no believe and teach he was born Sept 11, 3 b.c. "Jesus Christ our promised seed" is one particular reference I remember.
