lol I am having a similar experience with neighborhood strays. I fed one pregnant stray now there are 9 strays that show up and they are already acting like I am a terrible servant. I am such a pushover for the fuzzy set
I've been feeding these cats off and on for years. Some of my favorites passwd on. Some have survived. No Vaccinations, just Darwin's law of survival of the fittest..Your heart melts when you see the odd kitten. Such cute furrballs but you can't get near them..One time a caught a kitten before it has gone too feral and gave it to a friend..it sits on her desk everyday as she works.. Very happy one has a warm and loving home
God Bless you my Fren ! Warmed my heart as well ! I fight continuously to feed / save as many as possible ! Mostly dogs well 99 percent , only because cats aren’t around my hood ! Unfortunately to many coyotes ! However when I go to s dskota my first stop is dat good ! My God help them . They lose rails and limbs from frost bite . If only we had millions $$
A good intentioned group took a bunch last Summer. Only to bring them all back. No takers but they did fix them all. That did slow down the kitten flow. They go feral so quickly if not around people..even when people are feeding them. Barn cats are an interesting bunch.
We can create a Cryptocurrency that will fund the chain. Offer the franchises to Frens and then you can use either cash or crypto to pay for your coffee and cat treats.
I have 2 indoor cats and 9 ferals, I can't help it I feed them. Only 1 of them is male, and 4 females are pregnant. If I could catch them it costs $50 each, so I just wait because there are a lot of predaters that come down when the weather gets cold. Or they get hit by cars, this is usually how they go.
All these cats and I just caught a rat this morning in my kitchen.
Those ungrateful furrballs, can't even catch a Rat as a token of their appreciation. One of my favorite females got taken by a car a few months ago. Id fed her as a kitten. She was pregnant and must have decided to go further away to have her first litter. The Dominant Tom died this Spring. He was a gentle Giant. A one of a kind Tom. So much character, he was almost human. Very sad when I got the news. I buy a carton of sardines from Costco and fed them a tin in th morning. The farmer gives them barn cat standard dry food. We have a few very well fed Raccoons and Skunks.
Exactly
I fed a half dozen farm cats breakfast this morning.

Carefull,on the first cold day,you don't let them in the house.
You are one step away from being a crazy cat lady.
I fear you’re right.

Maybe one day. Id like to start a chain of coffee shops that have cats hanging around..
Car Cafes! Visited one in Charleston!
Yes that makes me sad too. The kittens are too feral to get homes for or take in.
