As long as the dollar is the world’s dominant reserve currency, this gives the US an absolute advantage with trade. If 30 central banks de-dollarize at the same time the US becomes a third world country overnight. Simple as that. This has been in the works for years and thank the lord Trump is fighting back.
If XRP is implemented and one can send a billion Mexican pesos to Japan and 3 seconds later have them converted to Japanese Yen for fractions of a dollar, is there any reason to be obligated to use the US dollar?
