One of the comments in the thread: There is evidence enough to prove that Trump is already exercising influence as CnC (&, frankly, as POTUS). The recent bending of the knee by Trudeau is evidence (Sheinbaum in Mexico is doing the same).

The paperwork & ceremony are one thing, but the evidence of his influence is quite another.
