Seriously, why should we be clutching pearls over the prospect of this happening?

It's not as if:

They care about us (see W. NC response)
They're truly representing their citizen constituents
Their actions prove they don't actually hate us
They're not just there to get rich - no matter who that hurts
They're doing everything within their power to make the world more peaceful
Political survival isn't more important than trafficking children
They're living right, fearing God and being an example like true leaders (like Trump)
They're not socialist/communist/dual citizenship traitors

Screw em all. Push the red button.
