Thompson was shot in the chest, according to The Gateway Pundit. I don't see any blood on the hands of the guy doing the compressions.
I don't think the new guidelines say anything about stopping midstream and walking away for a bit. Last time I checked, your heart has to keep beating. Kek.

Didn't the guidelines for CPR change a while back wherein they advised that chest compressions alone were more effective?
Compression only CPR is very effective and is an alternative being taught by AHA…taking a break isn’t part of the procedure.
