Does anyone know of any research on reversing or improving the symptoms of autism based on the premise that it may be caused by vaccines?

I met a woman in a pool a couple years ago. She had come to our town from TN to get her child chelation therapy by a renowned, local, and blackballed doctor. She was only on day 4 or 5 of the treatment and she said she saw a marked difference in her son. He went autistic after a shot (unknown jab).
