I am experiencing a similar situation with my daughter who has a hard working immigrant doing landscaping work for her. He is a wonderful person who says he sends his earnings back to Mexico for his family. I asked him if he was here legally. He wasn't. He's terrified he won't be allowed to come back. I advised him to go back, get his papers in order and apply. We even offered character references, if needed to help. Its this kind of immigrants that we welcome.
