Three have autism, and another 6 or so have some other type of neurological issue like ADHD or language-based disability. It's been like this for the last few years. Very different from when I started teaching 25 years ago. The public school system I teach at was once very high quality as government-run systems go, but it's collapsing under the weight of special needs kids, all of whom need to be accommodated.

Yeah, the last numbers I read were between 1:25 and 1:30, but I couldn't remeber if they were current or projections.
