I don't know what this post by Elon was about but I did go to the YouTube channel of Whole Mars Catalog and was astounded by the technology in the Tesla car. Click on the link and just watch the first two minutes to get an idea of what this car is capable of. Very cool if you are a tech dude and very scary if you are a luddite.

I guess this guy was demonstrating the newest version of their driving software and how much better it was compared to the original version his father's car has. Personally, I'm a Prius and Geo Metro fan boy, but this tech in a Tesla is pretty awesome. I still don't like the downsides of owning a Tesla, but this kind of video makes it easier to swallow the those downsides.
