Question: I'm coming down with a cold, will Ivermectin help?

Woke up this morning with a sore throat and feeling a bit achy. A cold has been going around among my friends and I may have picked it up. I have Ivermectin and I'm wondering if starting it now will help?

I can't take alcohol in any form, I've been clean and sober for over 36 years now and don't want to jeopardize that.
