East coast drone sightings, if you were going to bet a substantial amount, where would you lay your money down? Foreign, Domestic, Civilian, Military, or Extraterrestrial?
Here is my best guess

Manufactured on the east coast. Test flights scheduled for “summer 2025” Boeing subsidiary Aurora Flight Sciences X-65 Only artist recreations are available, no actual photos.
It’s a high possibility in my mind but if we want to entertain the UFO/ET possibility I would say its much less likely due to no physics breaking speed or maneuvering has been recorded of these sightings to my knowledge. I would go as far to say I would believe flying cars over ET when it comes to the East coast sightings, the tech for eVTOL has been emerging and well within reach for experimental flight companies. The fact that NONE have been intercepted should be a dead giveaway, that’s just how I see it though.
While warfare is always a constant ebb and flow between technical innovations in all sorts of areas, my understanding at the moment is that missile & drone tech have outpaced systems that can defend against these effectively. So I figure laser based defense turret type systems will be around soon that uses image-recognition, cameras and motor control fine enough that they can engage an inbound swarm of drones or passing missile by picking out its propulsion or fuel/battery structures and burning holes through them one by one. Or picking out the ordnance/payload sections and detonating them.
Purely kinetic defenses like irondome I dont think will cut it because they can run dry on ammo with feints and decoys so easily.
Camouflage, reflective surfaces, chaff clouds and flares to confuse targeting systems, decoys and dummy/inert drones flanking ones with payloads will all follow.
