I had honestly never heard of this. I use Kirkland minced garlic from Costco...I just checked it and it's grown, harvested and packed in California. Thank you Costco for looking out for me when I didn't know better!!! Whew.

Yes, California grows lots of garlic. I used to go to where they grow them.
