I don't believe the transwing drone story for a second. They are trying to claim the glowing orbs are these things with their wings folded. The orbs don't have flashing lights. I think We are seeing a combination of objects over NJ and its causing confusion combined with less informed people now looking up, as well as an already legitimately busy airspace.

If you follow UFOs closely its been talked about for some time that they sometimes attempt to imitate aircraft, in fact going back in history they seem to imitate airial phonemena of different types, meteors, planets, stars, etc, and certainly some can be chalked up to misidentified phenomenon, but some are not. There are UFOs in old paintings and religious books (Vimanas).

I'm not saying I know what these things being seen are, but personal drones attempting to investigate quickly loose battery power and police drones get completely out manouvred or the object just disappears, indicates something not publicly known/acknowledged.
