I went to a funeral for my aunt (she was a nun) at a Catholic college that has an area for retired clergy in Oct 23. I searched around to look at some of the rooms in the basement. So many things were in need of repair. In the church, the electronic organ was not working. Looks like they are short on money.
I can tell you if they sell some of their books, they could last for a long time but maybe the books are no longer there also. They have some very valuable rare books and also lots of prime real estate.

They have been selling some really nice real estate in my state. I miss those places, They have been developed into lots of condos and apartments.
So are they selling the church ground or just empty land?
They are selling property that have structures (usually where nuns lived) surrounding by a lot of beautiful land,
