Are these drones silent? I encountered a strange silent drone of some type over a year ago and reported it in this board

Infrared (heat) sensors can see much better at night. Based on that, I hypothesize that hey are looking for something that is a source of heat, or other energy that the drone sensors can detect easier at night.
They might be hunting for an escaped chimera (biologic) that escaped a govt. lab. That would explain the secrecy, and the night time searches.
