Seems like he sees a forecast of stormy weather ahead. 3 months? Probably didn't figure on Trump winning.
Sure, it could be that, but in the absence of evidence that he's a black hat, let's not jump to denigrating his service. Life happens sometimes. Maybe a loved one got a bad health diagnosis or something similar.
Fair enough. But him being in the Naval legal system is not an auspicious connection. For me to have a good day does not mean I need to carve out his heart, so Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I'm sitting here shaking my head with a not so great feeling, all while reading your response. Got a gut feeling you may be right and that leaves me with question after question. Many thanks for your reply Killer' I had somewhat of the same idea myself... just didn't want to think that kind of person was still in a place to utilize that much power. Might end up being a good thing after all. I'm sure we'll find out as Trump put it 👀
Plenty of high-ranking rotten officers (e.g., General Mark Milley). Sometimes retreat is the better part of valor. I don't know anything about VADM French, except the conspicuous timeline.
very good point. looking forward to Trump actually "cleaning house" this time. 👍
