Even with a conviction, Donald Trump can still be President of the USA. The worst case scenario for him is that he paid hush money to somebody. and the truth is that past Presidents have done the same.
There were even problems with the verdict because it was not unanimous. Such verdicts equal a hung jury. Also, this case could have easily been tried before a federal court where the statue of limitations is seven years.

I completely understand. I just wish people would get it right - he was not "convicted" he was only found guilty by a sham trial and jury.
