With 2 high profile central bankers......ANYONE trust this?
100%
The reason it exists is because you can't do this sort of stuff with SWIFT, bitcoin gold or silver. It simply needs to exist.
As much as I like the idea of banks disappearing and devolving into anarchy, it simply won't happen. I'm not joking when I say I would like this scenario. But in the meantime I might as well try and get rich.

Thanknyou for the link. So is the RLUSD going to gain value if it is pegged to the USD? What am I missing? Or is "it" buy XRP? This digital stuff is so confusing! Would like to try my luck at this rich thing you speak of...
Man, I'm also wary of financial advice cause I really truly don't know but I have invested in xrp. My understanding is that there are a 100 billion XRP. However, each time xrp is transacted a little gets burned. So each time there is a little less. The theory is banks and institutions will need xrp to send any cross border transactions. I guess in the crypto world, people like to park their withdraws in a stable coin, in this case RLUSD. People still use USDT but it's considered sketchy. But RLUSD is meant to stay at $1 and will probably replace USDT.
The token people invest in is XRP. We are beginning a bull run. In a bull run coins go way up drop way down the next day and shoot back up. It's an emotional roller coaster. Just so you know. All sorts of theories on how high the coin could go. Personally, I think it'll peak later this year drop a little but also could be a good long term hold.
RLUSD is a stable coin, like USDC.. so it'll always be worth just $1 .. so you can say move $100 of your savings from USD to RLUSD to get 5% interest/yr so it's higher than putting it in a bank. But XRP is a BRIDGE currency. It's used to move large sum of money between currencies/countries and it's a ledger, so every transaction is recorded. USDC is not regulated but RLUSD is regulated and backed by real assets like treasury bonds, etc so institutions trust RLUSD more than USDC and Tether.
