Sadly, SA is fucked. Here in Australia I have always thought it interesting that we don't have more White South African immigrants. I appreciate it can be difficult to get out, given the financial issue caused by the exchange rate, not to mention the Australian government's prefernece for hundreds of thousands of Indians, for reasons which completely escape me.
We did end up with lots of SA Jews from the 1980s on...they were very quick to leave it seems. Very sharp to deal with (not a compliment) and many have done very well for themselves in business, mainly.
